About
Where you'll stay
The original white-on-white Katikies, draped down the Oia cliff with infinity pools that spill toward the deep-blue caldera. Arched cave suites, some with private bathtubs framing the sea, make it one of the most photographed luxury hotels on the island. It is close to adults-only without quite being it: the hotel welcomes children over 13 and points families with younger ones to its sister property, Katikies Garden, in Fira. The hotel is spread across houses rather than one block, Pelagos, which it describes as suspended on the cliffs in the middle of Oia, and Gea, at the quieter, more welcoming edge of the village. All of it built into the caldera. Private pools and jetted tubs come with the suites, and the spa does a range of body and facial treatments. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out until 11am.
